The following is a statement of belief and interpretation not a prophesy. There may come a day however when a prophet will come forth anointed of God who makes such a prophesy as this.
It is a reproach for a believing woman to be shunned by a believing man who if not for his preference for roman marriage over scriptural marriage would have taken her into his household as one of many wives. There are believing women as I write these words who would happily be part of such polygamous marriages. In fact, there are already such marriages among believers! In the days leading up to the restoration of the "Branch of the Lord" there will be many such marriages among believers. "The best men are already taken" will surely be true in the days preceding the restoration of the "Branch of the Lord" but that will not stop the "best men" from accepting more wives into their marriage. For in that day godly men will take back headship of their wives while submitting to the Lord as their head. In that day godly women will no longer ask their husbands to make idols of them as the pagans' wives require. In that day there will still be godly men who will practice celibacy or monogamy but they will recognize that those numerous godly men who have polygamous marriages will be no lesser men than they. Those who falsely claim to have some gift of celibacy or monogamy as an excuse not to take additional wives who the Lord has supplied them and because of their fear of women will be exposed as counterfeits along with the other tares.
